Stewart Miller and Amos Gern resolved a case for the $100,000 policy limits for a 21-year old tech employee who had psychological and spinal injuries from a car accident in Roselle.

June, 2022 – Following emergency treatment at Overlook Hospital, our client received extensive chiropractic and physical therapy treatment. However, when this conservative care failed, she was required to undergo multiple pain management epidurals to her lower back for diagnosed herniated discs assessed by MRI and EMG studies. Ultimately, she was required to consult a neurosurgeon, who performed a lumbar microdiscectomy surgery at the L4-L5 level. Further, our client had pre-existing psychiatric conditions, which were clearly impacted by the trauma of this accident. She was treated by a psychiatrist, who diagnosed her with post-concussion syndrome, adjustment disorder with mixed anxiety and depressed mood, and exacerbation of pre-existing anxiety disorder. Her treatment was approved in all respects by multiple no-fault psychiatric exams during the course of her care. Unfortunately, her own UIM/BI policy did not provide for a greater recovery for her serious injuries.
