THE 26TH ANNUAL JERSEY CARES COAT DRIVE
Help STARR, GERN, DAVISON & RUBIN, P.C. provide coats to those in need now through January 5, 2022. Go through your closets and donate new or gently used coats to benefit Jersey Cares.
About Jersey Cares
For the past 25 years, The Jersey Cares Coat Drive has mobilized the collection and distribution of thousands of “gently used” winter coats to men, women, children, and infants in need. Last year, Jersey Cares collected more than 20,000 coats throughout the state of New Jersey. Companies, churches, police stations, schools and other organizations collect coats throughout the drive and deliver them to a central location, where volunteers then organize the donated coats and package them for pick-up. A Jersey Cares approved nonprofit partner will then pick-up and distribute the coats to people in need.
**Please note that Jersey Cares will only accept new and/or gently used coats and refrain from donating stained or dirty coats.**
Please DO NOT donate hats, gloves, scarves, or any other clothing items.
How to get involved…
**Bring in your coat donations. Coat donations should be placed in box located in the SGDR Reception Area no later than 01/05/2022**
VOLUNTEER TO SORT COATS
Volunteers age 14+ will be needed to sort donated coats throughout the drive. When opportunities become available they will be posted on Jersey Cares -> Volunteer Opportunity Calendar.
