Banking Law

We litigate matters on behalf of banking institutions in federal and state courts in New Jersey and New York and other states where we work through local counsel when necessary to access the court system.  While we seek to resolve matters efficiently without litigation, we are adept and aggressive in asserting the rights of our client banking institutions in court.  We have extensive experience litigating matters concerning United States Small Business Administration (SBA) Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loans, including asset recovery in cases of loan fraud, fraudulent transfer, and breach of contract matters, as well as inter-bank issues with loans, as well as other SBA loans.   We also provide litigation services arising out of secured and unsecured credit transactions, such as commercial loans and mortgage loans, including collections, foreclosure, interpleader actions, enforcement of judgments, lien priority, and other actions in a streamlined and cost-effective manner.  We provide strategic defenses to banking institutions when they are sued directly or named as third-party defendants because of actions by or debt-enforcement against account holders.  We also advise banking institutions on responses to non-party subpoenas, etc.
